Pietro Rocca Obituary

Pietro was born on June 13, 1962 in Manhattan, New York. He was the son of the late Nicholas and Iolanda Rocca. He graduated from Xavier High School. Pietro continued his education at Georgetown University, graduating with his doctorate in medicine specializing in rheumatology. He became a dedicated and respected rheumatologist, practicing for 28 years.
In addition to his parents, Pietro was predeceased by his half-sisters, Adrianna, Nina, and Vicky. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Maria, Lisa and Angela; stepsons, Nicholas and Dan Hurst; grandchildren, Gavin, Ryder, Austin, Mikayla, Sienna, Nico, and a new baby due in September.
His last act of compassion was to donate his organs, giving others another chance at life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 10, 2023 at Waynesborough Country Club, Paoli, Pennsylvania, where family and friends may visit from 10:30 -11:30.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Pietro's memory to: The Michael J. Fox Foundation, The DaVinci Society, The Arc, The Beethoven Foundation, Vietnam Veterans of America, or Operation Smile.

Dr. Rocca was my doctor for many years. I loved his calm nature, cool sense of humor, kindness and his experience as a doctor. He was a good man. I was shocked to hear of his passing today and send my deepest sympathies to his family.

It was an honor and a pleasure working with peter these many years with our mutual patients. I also got to see him surrounded by his family at a local Italian music festival he so graciously invited me to.
He was always kind and thoughtful with all the patients i sent him. And he always laughed at my jokes

I was a long time pati of Dr. Rocco from 2008 till his retirement. I am so shocked and surprised by his passing. It was the best doctor and helped me through a lot of problems. He often talked of his family and trips to Hawaii. My Condolences go out to his family.

I was his patient for many years. He had a wonderful manner and frequently had a joke for me. We shared a conservative philosophy. He was outstanding.
