Poksil Wright passed away May 11, 2022. She was born December 20, 1942 to Song Geyun and Kwak Yongchun in South Korea. She was married to the late Allan Kenneth Wright for more than 50 years.
Poksil was the most amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was an absolute beautiful, strong, courageous and intelligent woman with a gift for making everyone laugh without trying. She was so vibrant, full of energy and spark; bold and never shy of speaking her mind.
She enjoyed gardening and was an amazing cook, always ensuring our tummies were full, even if we weren't hungry. Before she fell ill, her favorite pastime was taking long walks at the park or in the beautiful mountains of South Korea. She loved spending time with her family and friends, playing cards and winning at the casinos.
She was the perfect mother. Perfect in every way. Her sacrifices, hard work and dedication to raising her family will always be cherished.
Poksil is survived by her daughters Korena Wright, Dianna Padilla, and Jannet Wright; her sons-in-law Ricardo Sarria and Ruben Padilla; her granddaughters Alexis and Nyomie Padilla; her grandsons Kenyin and Kaydin Coleman; and her great granddaughter Adalyn Graham-Padilla.
