Sandra Jean Harmon Jensen Egbert November 25, 1944 – August 5, 2025 It is with great sadness we share that our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, and Great Grandma, returned to her Heavenly Mother and Father August 5th 2025. Her final day spent the only way she would've accepted, surrounded by family. The house was alive with her kids, grandkids, and great grandchildren. Sandee was born in Ogden, Utah, on November 25, 1944, to Heber Chase "Ace" Harmon and Carma Dawn Crump. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Clark G. Jensen. After a short time in Seattle, the family settled in Sunset, Utah, when Sandee was 12 years old. She graduated from Clearfield High School in 1963, where she was head cheerleader and a Sterling Scholar. Sandee cherished her high school years and often reminisced about how fulfilling and fun they were. She went on to attend Weber State College and danced with the Chantanelles dance team. Sandee married Dan Anthony Egbert on June 25, 1965, in Ogden, Utah. They were later sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1967. They were blessed with three daughters and two sons. As teenagers, Dan and Sandee lived in the same neighborhood in Sunset. However, they didn't start dating until she asked for a ride in Dan's black 1955 Ford Thunderbird convertible. She immediately fell in love with his car, and not long after, she fell in love with Dan. Dan put a ring on her finger just before he left for military duty with the Air Force. Upon his return, they set a date and were blessed with 59 wonderful years of marriage. In the spring of 1969, Dan and Sandee settled in Washington Terrace. Three houses and 56 years later, they are still in the same neighborhood. Sandee was talented in so many areas. She was a fantastic cook, party host and homemaker. She enjoyed teaching the things she knew to her family. You could find her in the kitchen making cookies with grandkids or making one of her famous canned goods with helpers/taste testers. Most of all she was the BEST wife, mom, grandmother, and great grandmother that ever lived. Her world revolved around her family, she would do anything for her kids and grandkids. Sandee and Dan spent many joyful years making memories with their family in Bear Lake. From boating and beach days to late-night games, Bear Lake became a cherished gathering place. Those moments remain some of our most treasured family memories. She dearly loved her in-laws. Dan's siblings became like siblings to her, and his parents became like her own. Her relationship with her mother-in-law, Margaret Egbert, was especially close-Margaret was her best friend and confidante. Sandee was also blessed with dear lifelong friends, Bob and Deanne Krey, who have been part of her life-and her children's lives-for nearly 60 years. They were not just friends but true family: bonus parents and grandparents. We love them deeply. If you knew Sandee, you knew what it was to be truly loved. Her home was always filled with warmth and hospitality. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Sandee was a devoted and dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had an unshakable testimony of our Savior and the gospel. Every calling she was given was fulfilled to the highest standards. From Stake Relief Society presidency, ward Relief Society president, Relief Society president at Mount Ogden nursing home, and Cub Scout Webelos leader, she loved those she served and was blessed with lifelong friends. While raising seven children, Sandee worked at the Bank of Utah as a teller, served as Relief Society president, and volunteered as PTA president. Sandee was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. She loved sharing comfort and warmth making clothes, quilts, halloween costumes, baby blankets, pillowcases and any repair boys could come up with. Survived by her loving husband, Dan Egbert, and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren: Kristen (R. Scott) Larsen and their family: Amanda (Ben) Wheeler: Tucker, Gavin, and Hallie Samantha (Christian) Eccles: Charlotte, Thomas, and Olivia Megan (Bret) Hubbard: Andrew, Calvin, and Zoe Mathieu (Amber) Larsen: Afton and Flynn Landon (Bailey) Larsen: Wren Jacque (Michael) Price and their family: Ashley (Derek) Hardy: Braelee, Reese, Channing, and Sage Brock (Riley) Moore: Sidon and Enzo Chase (Chelsea) Moore: Hadlee, Blakelyn, and Kendall Marissa (Justin) Hawks: Emmett, Harper, and Amelia Ashley (Brandon) Stiles: Ripley and Maverick Matthew Price Dan (Lori) Egbert and their family: (Preceded in death by Dan's son, Jaxon Daniel Egbert) Devyn Egbert Sloane Lowery: Harper Ruby Lowery Mitchell (Ashlee) Egbert and their family: Macyn Hartman, Carson Hartman, Nash Egbert Cari Ann Newby and her children: Kaybri Newby, Gage Newby, Bransin Newby From 1975 to 1988, Mom and Dad lovingly participated in the Lamanite Placement Program. Our family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to A-Plus Hospice and Home Health for the loving and exceptional care they gave our mom. Bella, Kristi, and Tammy have become like family to us. Thank you also to Carla, Luke, and Julie for your support. We would not be serving Sandee if we didn't thank her caregivers from the last decade. Her daughters Kris and Cari Ann. Kris has served as primary caregiver and has given until it hurts. Fighting for Sandee and Dan at every turn, putting in long days and at any hour of the night. Placing her life on hold beyond anyone's expectation. Thank you Kris! Cari Ann moved in with Mom and Dad 4 years ago and has been there morning and night being the linchpin that held the house together. She kept Mom smiling-filling the house with the love and laughter that she so desired.
