Priscilla Abt, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 83. Born to parents Floyd and Alma (nee Hall) Lane, on December 5, 1941, in Oneida, Tennessee, Priscilla made her home in
Harrison, Ohio, where she touched the lives of many through her warmth and kindness.
Priscilla dedicated 30 years of her career to the City of Cincinnati Police Division, where she worked in administration. Her ability to connect with people made her an invaluable asset to her colleagues and a trusted friend to many. Those who interacted with her often remarked that she had an exceptional knack for extracting information and insight, some saying she should work for the police department with her talent for finding out anything.
An avid traveler who cherished her trips to casinos, Priscilla embraced life with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure. She loved her dogs dearly and found joy in the companionship they offered. Her zest for life and love for her family will always be remembered.
Priscilla will be remembered for her unwavering support for her family, her indomitable spirit, and her boundless pride in her sons and grandchildren. She was proud and incredibly supportive of her family, always there to cheer them on and help them through hard times.
Those left to remember Priscilla are her sons: Zane (Sherry) Westerfield Jr., Mark (Barbara) Westerfield, and Jonathan (Tina Jones) Westerfield; and her grandchildren: Christopher Westerfield, Zachary Westerfield, and Rachel Westerfield.
Priscilla is preceded in death by her parents: Floyd and Alma (nee Hall) Lane; and her husband: John Abt.
To celebrate and remember Priscilla's life, a gathering of family and friends will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 2 PM until the time of the service at 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers please make memorials to
St. Jude's Hospital. A funeral home representative will assist during the visitation and service. If unable to attend, mail donations addressed to
St. Jude's, to Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street,
Harrison, OH 45030. The Funeral Home will forward to the charity.
Priscilla's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and adventure will never be forgotten.
