Priscilla Baxter Obituary
Priscilla Baxter, age 83, of Lexington, widow of Ronald Lee Baxter, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Stanford Care and Rehab in Stanford, KY. She was born July 12, 1940, in Winchester, KY, the daughter of the late Roderick and Grace Hundley Montgomery. Priscilla was a loving and devoted mother and wife, always putting her family first. She was an accomplished pianist who enjoyed spending time with family and decorating her home. Priscilla was a faithful member of Seventh Day Adventist Church on Lane Allen Road, the church she dearly loved and where she also served as Deaconess. She is survived by: four daughters, Kathy Baxter Tucker of Crab Orchard, KY, Terri (Marvin, Jr.) Graves of Georgetown, KY, Cheryl Baxter Crews (David Jones) of Lexington, and Rhonda (Harold) Tokle of Crab Orchard, KY; six grandchildren, Christopher Holder, Brittany Underwood, Sallie Pollock, Eric Pearl, Emily Pearl, and Charlotte Tokle; ten great-grandchildren; a brother, Hargis Montgomery of Lexington; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: three grandchildren, Jason Holder, Rachel Brewer, and Trey Graves; and a brother, Rod Montgomery. Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Rd. The visitation will be 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 1st at the funeral home. Burial will be at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 1733 Harrodsburg Rd., Lexington, KY 40504 or the Alzheimer's Association, 6100 Dutchmans Lane, Ste. 401, Louisville, KY 40205.
