In Loving Memory of Priscilla Lane Wennberg
Priscilla Lane Wennberg peacefully departed this life on March 2, 2026, surrounded by her beloved family at her home.
Priscilla was born on August 13, 1940, in
New York City, New York, to James and Etta Jackson. Priscilla's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, family, and community.
In 1963, Priscilla married the love of her life, Alfred Vincent Wennberg Jr., in a beautiful ceremony in Nassau County, Long Island, New York. Though Alfred preceded her in death, their union was blessed with three wonderful children: James Andrew Wennberg, Stephen Alfred Wennberg, and Doreen Elizabeth Hitt, who carry forward her legacy with grace and dignity.
Priscilla was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her grandchildren include Isabella Rose Wennberg, Alexandria Lane Wennberg, Guinevere Elizabeth Wennberg, Jessica Arruda, Sean Arruda, Christopher Alfred Holiday, and Connor McKinley Prince. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Kayda Renee Burrows and Skyler Radley Burrows.
She is also survived by her son-in-law, Aaron Hitt, and her daughters-in-law: Rebecca Spitler Wennberg, Patricia Ann Anderson, and Marianna Wennberg.
As the owner and operator of Frenchman's Tavern in
Cocoa, Florida, Priscilla was known for her warm hospitality and her ability to create an atmosphere that felt like home for all who visited.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Etta Jackson; her in-laws, Alfred and Edna Wennberg; her beloved husband, Alfred Vincent Wennberg Jr.; her sisters, Florence and Peggy; and her beloved dog, Ginger.
A celebration of Priscilla's life will be held on March 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Elks Lodge #1532, located at 315 Florida Avenue. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the memory of a woman who brought so much light and love into this world.
