Quentin Roosevelt Foster

Quentin Roosevelt Foster, 93 years young, died Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at home in Roswell, NM. He was born November 1, 1929 in Erwin, TN. Quentin married Constance A. Curry on October 20, 1950 in Washington, DC. He served in the US Air Force, stationed in Roswell, NM from 1951-1953. Mr. Foster was a chief maintenance supervisor at Thompson's Dairy Co. in Washington, DC and at Marva Maid Dairy in Newport News, VA. Quentin was a master craftsman who worked mainly with wood building furniture and more during his retirement. He was a member of the Southern Baptist Church Assoc., where he served in several churches as a deacon and a Royal Ambassadors leader. Quentin is survived by his wife of 73 years, Constance A. Foster; 4 of his 9 siblings; his daughter, Linda G. Mutcher (Paul) giving him 3 grandchildren, Joshua, Jesse, & Kathryn, 19 great-grandchildren; son Steven M. Foster (Laurie) with 1 grandson, Tyler; son John W. Foster (Lori) with 4 grand children, Ethan, Evan, Austin, & Maggie, and 2 great-grandchildren; daughter, Sherri L. Hoover, with 2 grandchildren, Lauren and Garret, and 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Foster is pre-deceased by his parents, Arvie Foster and Iva Guinn Foster, 5 of his 9 siblings, and a still-born daughter, Kathleen. The memorial service will be held at Spivey Mountain, TN.
