Quinton Nathaniel Jackson, 25, of Butlerville, passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at his residence.

Born February 4, 2000, in Columbus, he was the son of Andrea Franks Harrod and the late William R. "Billy" Jackson.

He was a 2018 graduate of Jennings County High School and attended Ivy Tech in Madison. Quinton enjoyed online gaming, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and Magic, talking and debating politics, listening to music, and playing guitar. He loved getting out of the house, spending time with his family, and his cat, Oliver.

Survivors include his children, Perseus "Percy" Jackson and daughter, Aurora Jackson, both of Seymour; fiancé, Shawnee Mullikin of Butlerville; mother and stepfather, Andrea and Scott Harrod of Butlerville; brothers, Lucas Jackson and Raiden Jackson, both of North Vernon; sister, Morgan (Matt Napier) Jackson of North Vernon; grandparents, Patty Franks of North Vernon, and Richard Lucas of Hayden; nephews, Parker Jackson, Kylan Jackson, Noah Napier, Logan Napier and Dylan Jackson, all of North Vernon; and nieces, Nevaeh Lucas, Layken Jackson and Georgia Napier, all of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his father, and grandparents, Jim Franks and Linda Graham.

A funeral service for Quinton will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Don Morris officiating. The visitation of family and friends will be on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
