Qureda was born on March 8, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky and passed away on June 24, 2025 in West Monroe, surrounded by family. Qureda answered to many names such as Mom, Meemaw and Creets, and loved spending time with her friends, family and her precious puppy, Daley Chanel. She held many occupations such as a beautician, home park manager and a real estate agent. She loved to fish and hunt and killed her first deer this past season. Qureda was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Cashton Ray Stewart; mother, Seattas Pfister; father, Walter Pfister; former spouses, Jose' A. Vasquez, Sr., Don Stafford, Jack Buttitta, Robert Claerhout, Thomas Gerald, and Fred Wigfield.
Qureda is survived by her children, Deborah Taylor, Jose' A. Vasquez, Jr. and fiancé Lesa, Aline Smead and husband Dave, Walter A. Stafford and wife Sherry; grandchildren, Robin Taylor, Christina Henry (Bo), Howard Thomas Taylor (Shawn), Jonathan Taylor (Brandy), Joshua Taylor, Jennifer Killian (Rob), Candice Yonker (Scott), Dave "DJ" Smead, Jr. (Grace), Haley Jones (Trey), Hannah Moncrief (Aly), Holden Stafford (Ali); 26 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; friend and companion, Donald Willett; half-brother, Carl Moore; along with other extended family and friends.
Honoring Qureda as pallbearers will be Scott Yonker, Joshua Taylor, Jonathan Taylor, Holden Stafford, Trey Jones, Dan Saterfield and Thomas Taylor. Honorary pallbearer will be Dave "DJ" Smead, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Northeast Louisiana.
