Born on June 11, 1957, he was the son of Delford R. "Del" and Dorothy E. (Eshelman) Wigfield.

Terry was a 1975 graduate of Clearfield Area High School.

On May 29, 1976 he wed the former Holly L. Neff. He was Methodist by faith.

He loved God, his family, friends, and his country. He was very active in his community.

Terry served as Clearfield Fire Chief from 1990-1991. He was named Clearfield Fire Company #1 Fireman of the Year in 1991 and was also awarded, in the same year, the Chamber of Commerce of Clearfield Director's Choice Award for commitment to the betterment of the Clearfield County community. Terry was director of Clearfield EMS when they were awarded PA Rural Ambulance Service of the Year in 2001. He taught many EMT classes over the years. Terry supported the Clearfield National Guard Unit and was Family Readiness group president during the soldier's deployment for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He received the PA Commendation Medal for Family Support Group/Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2006. He was a past borough council member and fair board member.

Terry enjoyed hunting and going to camp. He was a big Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. He enjoyed his train collection and woodworking. Terry also was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time in his yard.

He loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Terry is survived by his wife, Holly; three children, Stacy Nawrocki (Steve) of Erie, Terry L. Terry is also survived by one brother, Gary C. Wigfield of Clearfield, and several nieces and nephews.

His deep faith in the Lord made Terry strong as he battled his health issues. He is so loved by his family and will be deeply missed.

I first met Terry through his parents as they were patients of Dr. Davidson whom I worked for . I always thought he was so mean and was scared of him!
A couple years later I became an EMT. As I come to know Terry he wasn't so scary after all!
He was funny, kind, and very wonderful in the EMS world.
I feel privileged to have been able to work with him on ambulance runs when they were called to our area.
He was a great mentor and he taught me alot things for EMS.
Fly high Terry and I'll see you on my run!
