R. Thomas Keller, MD of Kansas City, MO, formerly of North Providence, RI passed away on November 28, 2022 at the North Kansas City Hospice House after a brief illness.
Tom was born in Leon, IA, a son of the late Robert and Beverly (Sage) Keller. Tom attended Wichita State University and then attended KU Medical School where he received his Medical Degree with a Specialty in Psychiatry. He had a private practice in Providence, RI for over 28 years. He was also on staff at RI Hospital, Department of Psychiatry as well as Butler Hospital in Providence.
Tom was named as RI Top Docs by RI Monthly Magazine which is voted on by his peers. Tom moved to Upstate NY in 2006 where he was Medical Director for Behavioral Health at Carthage Area Hospital, Carthage, NY. He moved to River Hospital, Alexandria Bay, NY until his retirement in 2015. Upon his retirement his relocated to Kansas City, MO.
Tom is survived by a sister Joyce Ingling and her husband Tom of Bordertown, NJ, a brother Mark Keller and his partner Berney Streed of AZ. He also leaves several nieces and a nephew and several great-nieces and nephews all of NJ.
His funeral and burial will be in Bordertown, NJ at a later date.

My condolences to Dr. Keller's family. He really cared about his patients while in Providence. He helped so many people and was loved. I am grateful that I found him as my Doctor.
