Rachel Emma Eshleman, 80, of Shickshinny, PA died on October 16, 2025 at her home.
Born July 25, 1945 in Lancaster, PA, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Clara (Gaul) Fisher.
Rachel was a proud mother and loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. (Can add more here if desired)
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: John Fisher Sr.; three sisters: Margaret Fisher, Lorraine Strother and Susan Bennett and one grandchild: Angel Eshleman.
Surviving, are her four children: Barry "Tink" Eshleman and his wife Jessica of Wapwallopen, Melissa Eshleman and her significant other Wendell Evans of Hanover Township, Duane Eshleman and his wife Jana of Benton and Michelle Bartleson and her husband Arnold of Shickshinny; one twin brother: Theodore Fisher of Mt. Joy; two sisters: Helen Kreider and her significant other Bruce of Lancaster and Donna Fisher of Quarryville; nine grandchildren: Jackie, Douglas, Cody, Felicia, Duane Jr., Alexandria, Barry III, Devon and Alissa and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be announced by the family, in the Shickshinny Towers officiated by Pastor Douglas Beach of Nanticoke.
The family would like to thank all the hospice nurses and the aids of Commonwealth Hospice and suggests that any memorial contributions be made in Rachel's name to Commonwealth Hospice, 900 Rutter Avenue, Suite 20, Forty Fort, PA 18704.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., Shickshinny.
