Rachel P. (McNamara) Sirianni, 42, of Acton, MA, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 16, 2025, surrounded by her family after a 13-year journey living with breast cancer.

Born November 27, 1982, in Fort Leavenworth, KS, Rachel grew up in Leominster, MA, graduating from Leominster High School in 2001, where she played soccer and ran track. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Economics from Providence College in 2005. During her junior year at PC, she met the love of her life, Nick Sirianni. The two married in 2010 and built a life filled with adventure, laughter, and unwavering partnership.

Rachel approached life with humor, loyalty, and a deep devotion to her friends and family. She was a loving daughter to Thomas and Marceline (Poirier) McNamara of Fitchburg, a wonderful big sister to Andrew McNamara, and a doting aunt to her niece Kyleigh, with whom she shared many adventures.

Rachel built a successful career at Columbia Threadneedle Investments in Boston, serving nearly 14 years and most recently holding the position of Senior Director of Marketing. She was a quick study, respected for her sharp intellect and professionalism.

Her adventurous spirit took her and Nick around the globe, from their time living in Amsterdam to travels across Europe and the great landscapes of America. She adored her late dog Dolly, who inspired an ongoing series of witty social media posts that brought joy to friends and strangers alike. Rachel's family and friends will remember her humor, generous heart, and the way she brought warmth and fun to every gathering.

She is survived by her husband, Nick Sirianni; her loving parents, Thomas and Marceline (Poirier) McNamara; her brother, Andrew McNamara and his wife Julie of Leominster; her niece, Kyleigh McNamara; in-laws Mike and Pat Sirianni of Webster, NY; sister-in-law Kate Sirianni of Albuquerque, NM; her uncles and aunts; many cousins; and a wide circle of cherished friends.

Visiting hours will be Friday, August 22 at 8:45 am at St. Cecilia's Church, Leominster, followed by an 11:00 am funeral Mass. Burial will be private.

If desired, donations may be made in Rachel's memory to Household Goods (530 Main St., Acton, MA 01720) where she served as a volunteer or to Boston CASA (151 Merrimac St, Ste. 200, Boston, MA 02144), honoring her and Nick's goal of helping children in the Massachusetts foster care system.
