Radames Rivera Obituary
Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, Chico came to New York, then Maryland, before settling in New Orleans. As a young man, Chico was a singer and played the conga in a band. Later, he worked as a Barber on Capitol Hill and retired as a building maintenance engineer for Southern Baptist Hospital. Friends and family will remember Chico for his laughter and his happy-go-lucky ways. If he wasn't dancing, he was singing or telling a joke.
The family will hold a private service. Friends are asked to simply say a prayer in remembrance of Chico.
