Rae Ellen Boscoe (nee Graff), age 89, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the Avenue in North Ridgeville. She was born in Elyria and had been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. She was a 1953 graduate of North Ridgeville High School and a graduate of Balwin Wallace. Rae was a schoolteacher for Berea City Schools and taught English for 14 years. She also worked at the Giant Eagle bakery for several years. She enjoyed making handmade Christmas ornaments and baking cookies for family and friends. Rae was a huge supporter of Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child and was an advocate for Type 1 Diabetes that she herself had for many years. She got to know her neighbors through the years by collecting for March of Dimes and became everyone's friend. Survivors include her nephews, Dale Wolfe, Walter and Stephen Warneck, niece, Jill Sharbel, sisters-in-law, Janet (Rev. Walter) Warneck, Carol (John) Violini and many friends including Diane and David Duvall of Westlake. She was preceded in death by her son, David Boscoe, sister, Barbara Wolfe and parents, Harold and Desdemona (nee Hammond) Graff and nephew, Harold Wolfe. Private burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, North Olmsted. Contributions may be made in memory of her son, David J. Boscoe to Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation at www.ohiospf.org
