Rafael was a mentor that demonstrated his love through acts of service and acts of giving, touching the lives of everyone he encountered with his strength, and kindness. Rafael, a man of all trades, found joy in spending time with family, helping people, making friends, finding projects around the house. His gatherings were filled with laughter, love and food. Rafael has created cherished memories that will be treasured forever. Rafael's resilience in the face of life's challenges was truly inspiring, he has faced hardship with courage and grace, serving as paragon father figure, for those around him. His unwavering love and support brought comfort to many leaving an indelible mark in all who truly knew him. As we gather to privately mourn Rafael's passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful, diligent life he lived and the profound impact he had on each of us. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on in the many lives he has touched.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 8th, 8:30 AM from Casey & Rios Funeral Home 4540 West Diversey Avenue, Chicago, IL 60639 proceeding to Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Alsip, IL. Rafael fue un estimado, esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo. Rafael fue un mentor que demostró su amor a través de actos de servicio y de generosidad, tocando las vidas de todas las personas que encontró con su fuerza y bondad. Rafael, un hombre de todos los oficios, encontraba alegría en pasar tiempo con la familia, ayudar a la gente, hacer amigos, encontrar proyectos en la casa. Sus reuniones estaban llenas de risas, amor y deliciosa comida. Rafael ha creado recuerdos preciados que serán atesorados para siempre.
