Rafael Martinez Marin

Rafael Martinez Marin, 51, was born in El Carrizo Municipal de Copala Guerrero on September 17, 1972. He was called to be with the Lord on August 23, 2024.
Rafael lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for 24 years with his wife and four children.
Rafael came to the United States at the age of 17 in search of a better life. Rafael was a great son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and godfather. Rafael shared his life with his wife of 31 years Maria Limones. During their life together they had five sons, Jose Guadalupe, Ismael, Felipe Manuel, Angel Rafael, and Isai. He was an exceptional father who loved his children with all his heart. Rafael was a loving grandfather to his two grandchildren and was looking forward to his third grandchild.
Rafael was a very happy man and he liked to spend time with everyone he met. He loved spending time with his family and going out to see new places with them. Rafael liked to drive to California with his wife. He liked to dance and make everyone smile all the time.
Rafael was preceded in death by his parents Felipe Martinez Texta and Armida Marin Avila and his first-born Jose Guadalupe Martinez.
Rafael was a very strong and loving man. He lived his life very happily and lived his life doing everything he could for his wife and children. He loved to tell stories about his life in Guerrero and his life when he was younger. He always told his wife and children that he wanted to take them on walks all the lands he walked alongside his father. He wanted to take them to see all the things he saw when he lived on his ranch. You would always find him with a cup of coffee in his hand and his cap on. Rafael was loved by many and will always live in our hearts.
