Mr. Raj Gopal, beloved husband of Radhika and loving father to Puja, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
Born on September 19, 1963, in Chennai, India, Raj was the cherished child of the late Mr. Srinivasan and Mrs. Saraswathi. A brilliant student, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science with top honors before earning his CPA designation - a foundation for a global career built on intellect and integrity. He began in India, then worked in the Middle East, later immigrated to the United Kingdom, and finally settled in United States, where he served as Chief Financial Officer of Fenner Dunlop for over a decade. A man of numbers; his strategic brilliance and leadership left an indelible mark wherever he worked. Despite corporate heights, he remained profoundly humble, and treated everyone with respect.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Raj enjoyed cheering his favorite teams, especially in cricket and soccer. He was a devout Hindu, with an unwavering devotion to spirituality, and lived a principled life.
He loved technology and was a keen learner of new trends.
A profound thinker and a sensitive soul, family and friendships mattered a great deal to Raj. His loyalty as a friend spanned decades and continents.
He lived each day with gratitude and contentment. Let's honor his zeal for life. His legacy will live on through his friends and family, including son in law Abhinav Bankhwal and father in law Mr. Srinivasan Ranganathan.
A viewing will be held on Thursday November 13, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12 PM at Beinhauer family Funeral Home 2630 W Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, 15216. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Raj, please visit our floral store.
