Leighann B. Koch

Leighann Koch, age 50, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 29, 2025. Leighann was born in Murrysville, PA to Karen and the late Rick Burdis. She worked at Lovelace Hosptial in New Mexico as a perfusionist. Prior to Lovelace Hosptial, she worked as a nurse in the PICU at UMPC Children's Hosptial and a perfusionist at Presbyterian Hosptial in Pittsburgh. Leighann was selfless and prioritized helping others, this was shown through 25 years in the healthcare industry. Leighann loved to spend her time dancing. She even participated in many dance recitals. If she wasn't dancing, you could find Leighann playing sudoku, reading, or crafting. Leighann is predeceased by her father, Rick Burdis. She is survived by her loving husband, Don Koch; her dear mother, Karen Burdis; her siblings, Michele and Richard; her dear friend, Mary Kay; and her cherished dogs, Max and Elliot.
