Raleigh "Ray" Haskins, age 76 of North, was born October 7, 1948, in Columbus, OH, to Bee Carrin and Raymond Haskins. He also had a stepfather, Lee Altendorf. He served in the USAF from 1968 to 1988, retiring as Master Sergeant. He specialized in Combat Arms Training and was a Material Storage and Distribution Supervisor. He was awarded the AF Outstanding Unit award, AF Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, among many other awards. Ray was also a restaurant entrepreneur, and he opened a sports bar, "Cruiser's", that he ran for many years. Ray rarely missed an opportunity to play golf. He also enjoyed camping and RVing. Ray had a soft spot for his dogs, Josie and Abby, and no doubt his precious Molly and Connie met him with fiercely wagging tails. Ray is survived by his wife, Lori Haskins; his daughter, Ranae Haskins (Claudio Fabbro); his son, Daniel Haskins (Kimmy); his grandchildren, Giacomo, Gabriele and Lidia; two step-children, Kenneth and Leah; siblings Ginger (Kirby), Bev (Scott), Chuck (Luann), and Bill; his first wife, Metilla; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home & Crematory.
