Ralph Bass, age 84 of Carrollton, a devoted family man and respected electrician, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026. Born on March 29, 1941, he was the son of the late William Marvin Bass and the late Christine Huckeba Bass. In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Joe Bass.
Ralph was immersed in the warmth of family, taking great joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren. The love and support of his parents and brother shaped him into the exceptional man he became. Outside of his family life, Ralph cherished his hobbies, which included traveling, hunting white-tailed deer, and shooting his guns. As a simple man, he took pleasure in the beauty of the outdoors and family time. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him deeply.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Linda Griffis Bass; his daughters and son-in-law, Lori Crook and Scott Crocker of Lowell and Lisa Bass of Carrollton; his son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Estela Bass of Roopville: and his grandchildren: Garett & Jessica Crook, Griffin & Patience Crook, Christopher Bass, and Jesse Bass. Also surviving are his nephews, Wade & Rhonda Bass and Wesley Bass and his niece Mary Jo & Ronnie Rigsby.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Bass will be cremated.
