Ralph worked for many security companies. He was a member of Signal Hill United Methodist Church in Belleville Illinois, Signal Hill Fire Department and NRA life member.
He was preceded in death by his:

Surviving are his:
Wife: Deborah, nee Renth, Conrath of Belleville, IL
Children:
Shannon (Terry) Bowman of O'Fallon, IL
Benjamin H. Conrath of Belleville, IL
Anthony L. Conrath of Edwardsville, IL
Grandchildren:
Sheyenne Bowman
Brayden Bowman
Sister: Margaret (Joseph) Vallowe of Berea, OH
Nieces and Nephews
Special Thanks: The family would like to express appreciation to Heartland Hospice and EverVella for their compassionate care toward Ralph.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Missouri Military Academy, Fireman's Relief Fund or Signal Hill Fire Department.
Visitation: Visitation from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois. There will be a Fireman Walkthrough at 5:30 p.m.
Services: Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. LaRon Stover officiating.
