Ralph Halbach Obituary
Ralph H. Halbach, Jr., 78, of Ellington, loving husband of 32 years to the late Patricia (Nickles) Halbach, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. He was born on July 10, 1947, in Oakland, CA, to the late Hazel and Ralph H. Halbach, Sr.
A resident of Westport, CT for over 30 years, Ralph was a graduate of Sacred Heart University. After moving to Charlotte, NC with his wife, Ralph spent most of his career working for Bank of America.
Ralph is survived by his sister, Marilyn Gilbert and her husband Paul of Ellington; his beloved niece, Shelley McNamee and her husband Robert and their children, Bryanna, Killian, Isabelle, and Teagan; his beloved niece, Sherry Gilbert of Vieques, PR; along with his devoted cat, Tudie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 15, 2025, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Luke, 141 Maple St., Ellington. There will be no calling hours, and burial will follow in Ellington Center Cemetery. To leave an online message of condolence for his family, please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com.
