Ralph Kramer Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 8, 2025.
Ralph Junior Kramer, died on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at his home with his loving wife by his side. Ralph was born in Green Bay, WI to Ralph and Steenah Kramer. He graduated from Preble High School and enlisted in the United States Army. Ralph served in Missouri, Georgia, Germany and Japan. After his honorable discharge, he moved to Two Rivers where he met June, originally from Chicago. They soon married, and Ralph was employed with Hamilton Manufacturing, later known as Fischer Hamilton Scientific where he worked for 40 years. He was a member in good standing of the Good Fellowship Club. After retirement, Ralph and his wife traveled to several states and Canada. They especially enjoyed summers in Door County and celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on the big island of Hawaii. Ralph sang in the First Lutheran Chancel Choir and also ushered at church for over 25 years. Ralph served as a volunteer for the Manitowoc Salvation Army also for over 25 years. He worked on various projects including the food pantry, Coats for Kids, and Toys for Tots. A member of the Eagles Club Airie 706, Ralph assisted his wife, June with holiday parties for children and club rummage sales. A very proud moment for Ralph and June was when Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels presented them with Keys to the City for their volunteer efforts to serve on various city committees in a positive way. Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, June; two sons, James (Lucy), California; Randy, Washington; grandson, Marc, Idaho; two great granddaughters, Karaya and Eliana, Idaho; brother, Norbert (Bonnie), North Carolina; sister, Lois; and niece, Tiffany, Missouri. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Kenneth. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025 at First Lutheran Church, 521 N. 8th Street, Manitowoc. Pastor Andrew Wendle will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Drews-Bleser Post 88. A luncheon for family and friends will then be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. The family will greet relatives and friends at First Lutheran Church on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to First Lutheran Church Organ Fund or Manitowoc Salvation Army. Special thanks to Rose at RS Caring and St. Croix Hospice for all the care and compassion they provided. Ralph was an honorable and true gentleman. He will always be in our hearts.
