Ralph Lanier, 74, of Middleton, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Magnolia Regional Healthcare Center in Corinth, MS.  

The widower of Donna Gail Lewis Lanier, who died on July 11, 2023, he was the son of the late K. C. and Willie Mae Porter Lanier.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, J. D. and David Lanier.

Mr. Lanier was a graduate of Middleton High School and retired as maintenance supervisor at Western Mental Health Institute in Bolivar after 28 years of service.  He was a US Army veteran and lived most all of his life in the Middleton area.  In his spare time, he enjoyed farming, working on his tractor and working around his home on various "handyman" chores.

He leaves his daughter, Kelly McKenzie (Richard) of Middleton; his son, Randall Lanier of Adamsville; a brother, Charles Lanier (Diane Leverette) of Middleton; and a grandson, Kayden Mack Darling.
