Ralph L. Malanga Jr.

Ralph L. Malanga, Jr., 94, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, July 15, 2024.
Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Livingston, NJ, before settling in Toms River, NJ 23 years ago.
Ralph was an Operating Engineer for Local 825 in South Brunswick, NJ.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph L., Sr., and Mary (Galasso) Malanga, and his sisters Rose Rispoli, and Dolores Pesante.
Ralph will be forever remembered and cherished in the hearts of his loving family; his wife of 64 years Joyce (Carino) Malanga, daughter Cheryl Malanga, son Ralph L. Malanga, III and his wife Diane Bates, his sisters Barbara Stefanelli and Norma DiSavino, four grandchildren; Allison and her husband Pasquale Zicchinelli, Jenny and her husband Michael Karch, Laura Malanga, and Nicholas Malanga, three great grandchildren Johncarlo Zicchinelli, Luca Zicchinelli, and Vincent Karch, as well as a wealth of loving extended family and friends, all of whom he adored.
Ralph and Joyce enjoyed traveling the world. They also loved to entertain, especially on Christmas Eve. Besides spending time with his family, Ralph enjoyed crabbing, hunting, Yankee games, and his daily crossword puzzles.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 10am to 1pm at the Carmona Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River, NJ. Entombment will be held privately. Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.carmonabolenfh.com.
