Ralph Edward McLean, 94 of Rockingham, passed away peacefully on Monday November 24, 2025 at Richmond County Hospice Haven, surrounded by family.
Ralph was born in Richmond County on November 1, 1931, son of the late Edward and Essie Kennedy McLean. He retired from Burlington industries, where he spent many years as a fixer. He was a member of Cordova United Methodist Church.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Buck McLean and sister Viola King.
Surviving is his loving wife of 76 years Gertrude Johnson McLean. Children Tony (Norma) Mclean and Sandra (Ed) Ussery. Grandchildren Candi (Clifton) Boney and Erica Chavis. Great Grandchildren Jackson, Andrew, Harris, Dalton and Brantley. He also leaves behind an additional 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at McDonald Baptist Church Cemetery.
