Ralph Eugene Mountjoy, 69, of Fulton, passed away on September 18, 2025. He was born on November 16, 1955, in Kansas City, MO to Claudis Joe and Ruby Aline (Lewis) Mountjoy. Ralph grew up in Columbia, MO from a very young age. He graduated from Hickman High School in 1974. He married Cindy Sue Hinshaw on September 22, 1979 in Columbia, MO.

He started off as a pipefitter in Local 562. He worked on the side with his twin brother, Ronnie Mountjoy, who started Mountjoy Plumbing. He finished his career as a pipefitter for the University of Missouri.

In his earlier years, Ralph enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was proud to be a Patriot Guard Rider. He was an avid hunter and fisher, geocacher, antique firearm collector, and welder. In recent years he was very passionate about RC car racing. He built his own track to race on, which had a sitting area and lighting for the track. His other recent interests included mowing, fires, wood puzzles, painting, and feeding wildlife.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Mountjoy, his children; Randi (Isaac) Stroupe, Trent (Taylor) Mountjoy, and Brittany (Mark) Klusman. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ronald Dean Mountjoy, Sr.

A visitation will be held at Nilson-Millard Cremation and Burial Center, 5611 E. St. Charles Rd. Columbia, MO, on September 27, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

Memorial donations may be made to the Columbia Humane Society.
