Ralph Stevens Nordquist, born October 14, 1932, in Minnetonka, died peacefully surrounded by his family on December 27, 2025. Ralph is survived by his wife Carol (Gauderman), his children Heather (Nathan) Greenwalt, Andy (Amy), and Laura (Steve) Pavlicek, his grandchildren Noah, Noelle, Nora, Madeleine, Simeon, Elliot, Abigail, Annabelle, Ethan, and Alexander, and sister Charlotte Chuckwuk. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Helene Nordquist, his sister Jean Mickelson, and nephew Ralph Mickelson.

His family was richly blessed by his faith and devotion to Jesus Christ. Ralph graduated from Hopkins High School, then enrolled at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC and earned a degree in music. Later, he attended Northwestern and Bethel Universities for pastoral education. He was a youth pastor at Judson Baptist Church in Chicago, worked at Victory Bible Camp in Alaska, and was a director at Camp Shamineau for several years. His home church was Minnetonka Community. Later, he served on the Mission Board and was involved with Pioneer Boys and Boys Brigade at Wooddale Church, and for many years attended their Saturday morning Men's Bible Study. He continued his love for music by singing with the Wooddale Watchman, the Minneapolis Commodores, and the choir at Grace Church.

Ralph was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed camping, canoeing, fishing, and deer hunting with friends and family in the Boundary Waters area until two years ago. He was an avid gardener and planted and maintained a garden for over 55 years. Most of his life he was a roofer, remodeler, and contractor, and also worked on a variety of other projects.

He was immensely proud of his children, their spouses, and his ten grandchildren who brought him great joy. Funeral services to honor Ralph will be held at Grace Church, 9301 Eden Prairie Rd, Eden Prairie, MN on Saturday, January 10 at 11 a.m. with visitation at 10 a.m. The service will also be livestreamed by Grace Church. Funeral arrangements handled by Washburn-McReavy. Memorials preferred to Camp Shamineau.
