Ralph "Mike" Schutter, 83, of Edgewood, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.
Mike was a family man who was a huge sports fan, especially of his local teams: University of Kentucky, Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. You could find him golfing, watching game shows, or rebuilding his 1938 Ford and 1965 Mustang, which was one of his favorite things to do. He was in the Country Cruisers, a car club, where he was invited to the Cavalcade of Customs with his '38 Ford. Mike was also a member in the organization, "Bridges" Brain Injury Demand Guidance Education Support.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Geneva Schutter.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Tava Schutter; daughter, Tracy Thompson; stepchildren, Albert (Darlene) Witschy and Kerin (Mike) Hentz; grandchildren: Josh, Jade (Dylan), Joey (Ashley), Sara, Morgan, Abby, Louie and Joelle; great-granddaughter, Carson; sister, Linda Taylor; nieces, Michele and Krista.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 2:00 PM until the time of funeral service, 4:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Home, 30 Commonwealth Ave., Erlanger, KY 41018.
