Ralph Short Obituary
Abingdon, VA – Ralph Everett Short, age 70, born September 22, 1953, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in Bristol. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his father: Ellis Short and his mother: Madge Short.
He is survived by his sons: Shaun Ryder and wife Tiffany of Richlands, Virginia and Ronnie Short of Richmond, Virginia; daughter: Shannon Taylor and husband Jackie of Abingdon, Virginia; sisters: Cathy Mullins and husband Doug of Goldvain, Virginia, Cindy McGlothlin of Elkton, Virginia, and Suzy Pedigo an husband Randy of Elkton, Virginia; brother: Kenneth Short of Madison, Virginia; grandkids: Kaleb Taylor, Trever Taylor, Brayden Taylor, Raegan Ryder, Parker Ryder, Angel Mund, and Meilani Rose; great-grandkids: Ryder Taylor and Avery Mund.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at NHC Bristol for the special love and care they provided.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
