The family of Capt. Ralph Leland Webber Jr. of Maryville is saddened to announce his passing on September 3, 2025, at the age of 88. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Ralph will be remembered for his love of fishing, porch sitting, traveling, and his love of dessert. Forever one proud U.S. Marine, he leaves his best buddy John Rine.
Ralph was born to Ralph and Mary Edna Webber. Ralph, with the loving assistance of his mother, joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of sixteen and served over 20 years until retirement. In 1988 Ralph met Janet King and shared a wonderful life and marriage for over 37 years. They enjoyed traveling The United States in their RV, and wherever their trips took them, Ralph was always dropping a line in hopes of finding a big Bass. Ralph loved meal time because he knew ice cream would follow!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mary Edna Webber, Sam Dog, and many beloved relatives. He is survived by wife Janet Webber, brother Robert Webber, son Ralph (Bud) III, Daughter Lisa Mullendore, three step children; Doug King, Gary King, and Karen King Goble, many grandchildren and great grand-children. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. if desired, donations may be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital
