Ramiro T. Nunez

Ramiro T. Nunez, age 85, of Chicago, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in Tampa, Florida. Born March 11, 1937 in Lares, Puerto Rico, he was the loving husband of the late Isabel; loving father of Maria (Tony) Nieves, Gladys Velez, and Ramiro (Linda) Nunez; proud grandfather of Lisette Lugo, Janay Matta, Ramiro Nunez III, Antonio Ceja, Amanda Chalus, Jessica Deheljan, Maria Velez, Gabriel Ceja, Alejandro Nunez, and Marc Nunez; cherished great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather of many; fond uncle of many. Ramiro was a family man. He recently began cooking for holiday traditions in Florida. He was also a lover of the outdoors, and he especially enjoyed fishing, gardening, and camping, and being with family and friends around the campfire. He liked to feed the birds and play dominos. Ramiro was loved by everyone he met, and will be especially remembered for his kindness. Someone so special can never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace.
