Ramon Leon Obituary
Ramon Jaime Leon, 54, of Moultrie, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Baker Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Baker Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Andres Angel, Fernando Corona, Shad Friesz, Miguel Hernandez, Moises Moreno, and Hernando Vega will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home, with the rosary starting at 6:00 pm.
Born on February 25, 1971, in San Jose de la Paz, Jalisco, Mexico, he was the son of the late Piedad Jaime and Carmen Leon. Mr. Leon was a small business owner specializing in handy work.
He was happiest when he was on the water fishing, tending to his chickens, attending a car show, or gathered around a table for a game of poker. He also loved the thrill of horse racing. Christmas was his favorite holiday, filling him with joy year after year.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lupe.
Mr. Leon is survived by his loving wife, Maribel Leon Jaime, of Valdosta; his mother, Carmen Leon of Mexico; son, Ramon Jaime, Jr.; daughters, Jesenia Jaime and husband Moises Moreno of Moultrie, and Janette Jaime and Shad Friesz, of Valdosta; grandchildren, Joanna Moreno, Roxana Moreno, and Lucas Moreno; brothers, Alfredo, and Javier; sisters, Fina, Nena, Chuya, Carmela, Bertha, Chela, Rosy, Cuca, Licha, Irma, and Maria; and special friend, Miguel Hernandez.

Ramon Jaime Leon, de 54 años, de Moultrie, falleció el jueves 4 de diciembre de 2025 en el Hospital Universitario Emory en Atlanta, Georgia.
Los servicios fúnebres se llevarán a cabo a las 3:00 p.m. el lunes 8 de diciembre de 2025 en Baker Funeral Home. El sepelio tendrá lugar en Baker Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Andres Angel, Fernando Corona, Shad Friesz, Miguel Hernandez, Moises Moreno y Hernando Vega servirán como portadores del féretro.

Nacido el 25 de febrero de 1971 en San José de la Paz, Jalisco, México, era hijo de los fallecidos Piedad Jaime y Carmen Leon. El Sr. Leon era propietario de un pequeño negocio especializado en trabajos de reparación.
Era más feliz cuando estaba en el agua pescando, cuidando de sus gallinas, asistiendo a una exhibición de autos o reunido alrededor de una mesa para un juego de póker. También amaba la emoción de las carreras de caballos. La Navidad era su festividad favorita, llenándolo de alegría año tras año.
Además de su padre, fue precedido en muerte por su hermana, Lupe.
El Sr. Leon deja atrás a su amada esposa, Maribel Leon Jaime, de Valdosta; su madre, Carmen Leon, de México; su hijo, Ramon Jaime, Jr.; sus hijas, Jesenia Jaime y su esposo Moises Moreno, de Moultrie, y Janette Jaime y Shad Friesz, de Valdosta; sus nietos, Joanna Moreno, Roxana Moreno y Lucas Moreno; sus hermanos, Alfredo y Javier; sus hermanas, Fina, Nena, Chuya, Carmela, Bertha, Chela, Rosy, Cuca, Licha, Irma y Maria; y un amigo especial, Miguel Hernandez.
