RAMON MUNOZ
AUGUST 3, 1931 - JUNE 22, 2023
SANTA FE - Ray was born in Topeka, KS and spent his youth also in Chicago.
He was an air force veteran, having served in Korea. He and his wife Liz's passion for travel took them on numerous adventures in their lives. They retired in Santa Fe, and he spent the last 30 years here. He retired after 40 years with the postal service. He loved his red and green Chile.
He was preceded in death by his wife Liz, and son Ray Jr. As well as two brothers and a sister.
He is survived by sons Edward (deb), Michael (Angie), Martin (Susan), and Robert. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special thanks to grandson Adrian, who traveled hundreds of miles to always help his grandpa.
Rays celebration will be held on Thursday July 6th at St. Anne's church with the rosary @ 9am service @ 10am and a reception following at the St Anne's hall. His Internment will be the following morning Friday the 7th @ 9:30am at the Santa Fe national cemetery.
Pall bearers are Michael, Edward Jr, Michael Jr, Adrian, Gabriel, and Roberto Munoz.
Honorary pall bearers Ray Munoz 3rd, Ben Munoz and Mario Munoz.
