Ramona Bencomo

Ramona Bencomo, 61, of Pampa, passed away on December 5, 2022 at home with her family by her side.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Iglesia Casa Del Alfarero with Pastor Augustine Vasquez, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Ramona was born on November 11, 1961 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Celestino and Manueala Sanchez. As a young girl her family moved to the United States, settling in Tatum, NM. Ramona attended school and married the love of her life, Ramon Bencomo while in Tatum. Ramona and her family later moved to Texas in 1979, settling in McLean. In 2022 they moved to Pampa to be closer to family.
Ramona was fun loving woman who enjoyed dancing, cooking, and spending time with her family. She will be forever considered as a loving and generous woman who put others before herself. Ramona will be further remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, and she will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Soccoro Sanchez and Candy Sanchez; and by a sister, Hildia Sanchez.
Ramona's survivors include her husband, Ramon Bencomo of the home; a daughter, Rosalinda Villegas and husband Jesus of Pampa; two sisters, Adela Benavidez of New Mexico, and Cecelia Castillo and husband Fernando of Pampa; a brother, Bright Sanchez of New Mexico; 7 grandchildren, Daymon Flores, Junior Villegas, Monique Castillo, Daniella Rosalez, Angela Villegas, Marissa Villegas, and Josiah Villegas, all of Pampa; 6 great-grandchildren, Analia, Esme, Daizee, Kasher, Heart, and Eliza; a nephew, Bola Sanchez of Pampa; a niece, Aracely Sanchez of Pampa; and other extended family.
