Ramona Ruth Minyard Holcomb, age 87 passed away in her home in Louisville, Kentucky surrounded by family on January 8, 2026.
Ramona was raised in Bastrop, Louisiana. She worked with her husband at Moss Bluff Bookkeeping and Tax Service.
Ramona is survived by her daughters Karen (Mike) Turner of Louisville, Kentucky and Rhonda Harb of Many, Louisiana. She also leaves 1sister Sue Mardis of Avon, Indiana, and 2 brothers Walter “Butch” Minyard of Royal, Arkansas and Bill Minyard (Carolyn) of Conway, Arkansas. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and many friends who call her mom or grandma.
She is preceded in by death by her parents Grimes and Ruth Minyard, her loving husband William “Bill” Holcomb and 2 of their children Mark Holcomb of Many, Louisiana and Kathy David of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Cremation is entrusted to Newcomers Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life will be held on January 22nd at 2:00p.m. at The Believers Church 7905 Smyrna Parkway, Louisville, Kentucky.
Burial will be January 31st at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Many, Louisiana.
