Ramona Maryann Mason

Ramona Maryann Goodman Mason, 62, of Silsbee, went to be with her Lord on September 15, 2025. She was born on May 6, 1963, in Beaumont, Texas, to Mary Ethel Ross Goodman and Carl Edward Goodman.

Ramona was a devoted member of First Assembly of God in Silsbee for nearly twelve years. With a joyful spirit and servant's heart, she was always ready to step in wherever she was needed-often saying, "Put me in, Coach".

Family and the Lord meant everything to Ramona. Loving others was her God-given gift, and she poured that love generously into her family, her church family at First Assembly, and her family at Prestige Metals Exchange. She was deeply grateful for each and every one of you.

Ramona had a special heart for animals, especially her dogs and cats, and never hesitated to rescue any in need.

She is survived by her beloved daddy, Carl Edward Goodman, of Lumberton; siblings, Karen Bateman of Mauriceville; Greg Goodman and his wife, Amanda, of Mauriceville; Jodi Goodman of Lumberton; Darlene Carlos of Lumberton; and James Carlos of Lumberton.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ethel Ross Goodman; stepmother, Dorothy May Goodman; and her sister, Candace Desiree Marshall.

Ramona was such a vital part of our lives, and her absence leaves a tremendous void. She will forever be missed, but her love and light will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A gathering and Ramona's family and friends will be at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 20, 2025, at First Assembly of God, 950 Highway 96 South, Silsbee, under the direction of Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Leatherwood Cemetery, Lumberton.
