Randall Russell Gottschall, 75, husband of Alice Gottschall, went home to be with his Lord Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

Highland, WI, he was the son of the late Russell and Lucille Zoha Gottschall.
A proud graduate of Bob Jones University, Randy earned his Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and spent 16 fulfilling years teaching in various Christian schools. His passion for education was matched only by his professional journey of 33 years as a baker, where he shared his culinary talents with many, creating not just delicious goods, but lasting memories.
Randy was a dedicated member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, where he connected with fellow parishioners and immersed himself in the spirit of community. He found joy in traveling, having embarked on adventures that included short-term mission work in France, leaving a positive mark on those he encountered. With a brilliant mind, Randy delighted in exploring the wonders of science and history, often engaging those around him with insightful conversations.
Above all, Randy cherished the time spent with his beloved family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Alice Gottschall, who was his steadfast partner in life and love.
He is survived by his son, Nathan James Gottschall, Sr. (Christy); daughter, Ruth Gottschall Handschin (Hans); son, Simeon Gottschall (Lisa); son, Daniel Gottschall (Paula); son, Samuel Gottschall (Elyse); grandchildren, Nathan, Jr., Lydia, Jeremiah, Caleb, Hannah, Lydia, Gene, Daniel, Jr., Isabelle, and Russell; sister, Kathie Beane; brother, Keith Gottschall (Judi); brother, Bradley Gottschall (Millie); brother, Robert Gottschall; sister, Evelyn Baker (Keith); brother, Brian Gottschall (Victoria); sister, Charlene O'Malley (Kevin); and sister, Renee Fistere (Peter).
A visitation will be held Friday, February 06, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, with the funeral service followed at 11:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary.
