FORT WORTH - Randall Lee Hatley Sr., a beloved family patriarch, peacefully entered the Kingdom of God at the age of 71 on May 7, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas.
A memorial service to honor Randall will be held on Tuesday, May 14th, at 2 p.m. in the Oak Room at Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth, Texas. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Randall was born on October 2, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas, to parents, Burley Van and Bobbie Jean Hatley.
A proud graduate of Northside High School in 1970 and Texas Wesleyan University in 1974; Randall was a four year TWU Ram basketball athlete. He enjoyed a fulfilling career, holding senior roles in human resources at organizations such as Ford Motor, Tarrant County Juvenile and Adult Probation, Volunteers of America, The Maryland and Zurich Insurance, Texas Lighting, Triad, and Southwest Christian School.
Randall was preceded in death by his son, Randall Lee Hatley Jr., and sister, Jean Woodruff.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Elizabeth, his children Melissa Warren and Zachary Hatley, son-in-law Sammy Warren, and his cherished Grand Girls Madison Warren (Jake Stateson) and Samantha Warren. He is also survived by his brother Jeff Hatley (Linda), brother-in-law Larry Lopez, sister-in-law Deana Lopez Rambo (Ray), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of loving family friends, including his March Madness basketball brothers: Jon Adams, Dr. Randy Parham, George Odom, and Max Wayman, 70's Northside High School buddies, and best friends Jack and Carrie Shreffler and David and Staci McDavid.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to Ron and Janice Colman, Jerald and Tina Stevenson, Dr. Ron and Candy Kaler, Secret Harbor neighbors, Dr. Autumn Savage, Landmark home health care nurses: Janna Powell and Leah Leith, and Community Hospice Nurses: Jeri, Karen, Robina, Mary, and Sheridan. Randall's memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
His legacy of love and kindness will endure forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eagle Mountain ISD Education Foundation for the Randall Hatley Jr. Scholarship, c/o Director Ally Surface, or to the Christ Chapel Bible Church Music Ministry.

I cannot remember life without Randy. It seems we all grew up together. I do know we met at church at Lake Country. His presence was comforting, loving, & a devoted servant. He touched us all & we will
never be the same without him.
