FORT WORTH - Seth Hunter Williams, born Sept. 25, 1998, lost his battle with depression on Nov. 16, 2022, at the age of 24.
Seth grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Southwest Christian School in 2018. Following graduation, Seth attended Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, where he was a J.N. Andrews Honors Program student, graduating in May 2022 with a biology/biomedical science degree. At the time of his death, Seth was pursuing his Masters in chemistry at Ohio University.
Seth was also active in the student organization, Haven, providing support, love, and kindness to LGBTQIA+ students. He also had a lifelong love for animals, always having a favorite pet or two. He loved people, life, and travel. He was an avid student of the Bible and loved to engage in topical discussions and debates. Seth deeply loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Seth was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Yow Williams in 2021; paternal grandparents, Chaplain Felix J. Williams and Gladys Mae Childress Williams of Pineville, Louisiana; and his uncle, Felix J. "Bill" Williams, Jr., of Lovelady, Texas.
He is survived by his father, Robert A. "Bob" Williams and wife, Carolyn Williams of Burleson; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Jason Driskill of Arlington; brother, Robert A. "Beau" Williams, Jr., of Tomball; stepsister, Whitney Considine and husband, Garrett and their son, Jack, all of Burleson; maternal grandparents, Bob and JoAnn Yow of Fort Worth; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022, in the Greenwood Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at Greenwood.
