Mr. Hill, age 77 of Lebanon passed away February 6, 2025, at Quality Care.
Born August 20, 1947, in Wilson County, he is the son of the late Ace Lee Hill and Elizabeth Patton Hill. He was a school teacher for thirty years having taught at West Elementary, Watertown Elementary, Southside Elementary, and Carroll Oakland. He was a member of Berea Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Hill.
He is survived by his wife of over fifty two years, Linda Nichols Hill; son, Randy Lee Hill; and sister in law, Ann Hill.

I just read of Randall's passing. He and I taught together at West Elementary.
One thing I remember about him is, he was a good, good man.

I´m so sorry to hear of his passing. When I was in his class I missed about 3 weeks of school, but when I got out of the hospital my Mom helped me catch up on homework before I returned to school.
I didn´t think it was a big deal when I came back and knew the material, but Mr. Hill literally scooped me up like Scarlet O´Hara and praised me in front of the class.
He recommended me for a gifted program (which I didn´t really deserve) and he encouraged me like no other teacher before or after.
Deepest condolences to his family. He was a good man that made a difference.
