Randall Johnson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by High Lawn Funeral Home on Mar. 17, 2026.
Randall McKinley Johnson, 75, of Oak Hill, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at his home, surrounded by family. Randall was born on August 28, 1950, in Lansing, West Virginia, in his childhood home, to the late George and Hattie Johnson.

Randall retired as a maintenance man for the old Holiday Inn in Oak Hill. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp, the United States Army, and the West Virginia National Guard. Randall lived by the moto, "Once A Marine, Always A Marine."

Randall enjoyed digging for old arrowheads and old bottles, making old walking sticks, and hiking and camping in the woods.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Arlene Johnson and Phoebe Buck; and two brothers, Neil and Leon Johnson.

Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 47 years, Joetta Johnson; 2 sons, Daniel and Lyle Johnson; a daughter, Audrey Johnson; 3 grandchildren, Brian, Damian, and Demetri Johnson; and a sister, Judy Noble.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Salem Road Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Troy Bolen officiating. A dinner will follow the service at the church.
