Randall Warren Kaler

Randall Warren Kaler passed away peacefully at his home in Palm Desert, California, on June 20, 2022. The eldest of six children, Randy was born in Great Falls, Montana and graduated from C.M. Russell High School. He earned his undergraduate degree in criminology at Montana State University and his law degree from Pepperdine University.
Randy's calm, gentle presence and sense of integrity uplifted everyone he encountered. He developed a reputation as a well-respected defense attorney practicing law in the state of California for more than three decades. He was a loving husband, devoted father and joyful grandpa. Randy never hesitated to make time for his two daughters whether it was showing up in a suit after work to sports competitions or baking together on the weekends. He instilled in his girls a love of epic historical movies and appreciation for classic rock. Randy had a way of expressing himself in a quiet, thoughtful manner. When he did share his perspective or a funny memory, people listened intently.
Randy spent many happy times with his family exploring the outdoors in Glacier National Park and the surrounding area. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made in Randy's memory to The Glacier National Park Conservancy (glacier.org).
