Randall Lee Lester

Randall Lee Lester, age 69, of the River Mountain Road section of Lebanon, Virginia passed away Tuesday (August 26, 2026) at his home. Born December 29, 1955 in Drill, Virginia, he was a son of the late Roscoe Gaylord and Hazel Marie Harris Lester. He had been employed for many years in the water and sewage utilities industry and had retired from McClam and Associates in Little Mountain, South Carolina as a Superintendent of Heavy Equipment Operations. He was of the Christian faith and he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, fishing, hunting, gardening and watching NASCAR races.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Roscoe David Lester, his brothers-in-law, Larry Honaker and Gerald Ray and special friends, Bill and Von Heath.

Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Judy Lester of the home; three children, Andrea Leigh Carr and husband, Adam of Limestone, Tennessee, Jason Randall Lester of Prosperity, South Carolina and Nina Marie Lester and fiancé, Jason Fletcher of Jefferson, South Carolina; his special K-9 companion, also known as his "favorite child", Jack; three grandchildren, Lilly Carr, Lawson Carr and Kennedy Fletcher; three sisters, Chloe "Midge" Honaker of Belfast, Virginia, Pam Dye and husband, Chester, and Terri Ray both of Honaker, Virginia; four brothers, Jerry Lester and wife, Becky of Honaker, Virginia, Benny Lester and wife, Missy, Curtis Lester and wife, Missy and Taulbee Lester and wife, Missy all of Drill, Virginia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Cheyenne and Debbie Harris; special aunt and uncle, Nina and Thurston Meade and several additional aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Angels Care Hospice and the family and friends who have shown so much love and support, especially, Jeff, Valerie, John and Abby Sykes and Chuck and Pat Tate.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon on Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Perkins and Rev. Kevin Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in the Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Taulbee Lester, Cheyenne Harris, Adam Carr, Benny Lester, Curtis Lester, Caleb Sisk; John Sykes, Dwayne Meade and Andrew Frick.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thurston Meade, Jerry Lester and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Honaker Funeral Home from 11 AM until Noon on Friday.
