In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. In his generation, he was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Audrey "Dean" Coleman and several very special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Monday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jody Breeding and Rev. Troy Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Lambert Cemetery near his home on High Knob Road, Vansant, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends after 6 PM Sunday at Honaker Funeral Home where an evening song service will be conducted at 7 PM.
