Randall Pendley, 79, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023. Randall, always patriotic, loved his family, his church, Roanoke Baptist Church, and his country. In his earlier years, he enjoyed competitive bowling, cars, and music. Later, he was active in coaching Little League Baseball. Following retirement, Randall loved working outside, collecting musical instruments, and spending lots of time with his family. Randall served his beloved country for 39 years, retiring as a Transportation Supervisor for the Georgia Air National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Bennett Pendley; sons, Jason (Janelle) Pendley, Jarrod Pendley; grandson, Easton Pendley; brother, Douglas Pendley; sister, Brenda (Ricky) Peppers; brother-in-law, Charles Hansard; sisters-in-law, Charlene Pirkle, Levon Thomas, Margie (Loyd) Pendley, Gloria Corn, Jean Bennett, Kathy (Dennis) Grogan; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 28, at 2:00 p.m. at Roanoke Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Sanford and Rev. Clark Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
