Randall Lee Scroggins, age 68, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on April 20, 2025. Born to Zelma Christine Coffey and Clinton Edwin Scroggins in Hawthorne, Los Angeles County, California on July 7th, 1956. Randy lived in California for over 60 years working in warehouse management and logistics before retiring to Piqua, Ohio in 2017.
An avid Ham radio operator, his callsign, KI6NHT could be heard weekly on the amateur radio airwaves. As a member of Greene Street United Methodist Church, he served countless members of his community at the food pantry.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Denise Scroggins. He is survived by his son Cole Scroggins and wife Betsy, his son Sandor Scroggins, his daughter Mariska Brothers and husband Charles, his grandsons Cash Scroggins and Boone Scroggins and sister Karen Jamison.
Randy was a loving husband, father, papa, brother and a great friend to so many. He will be missed immensely. His love and wisdom will be carried on within the hearts of all who knew him. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Miami Valley Hospital.
A Graveside service to Honor Randy will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Piqua, OH on Friday May 9, 2025 at 10am with Rev. Joseph Creath officiating.
