Randall C. Wakefield, 74, formerly of Titusville, passed away on November 14, 2025, at the Rouse Warren County Home, in Youngsville.
Randy was born on December 19, 1950, in Titusville, a son of the late Edward J. and June Worden Wakefield.
He was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1968. After high school he attended Computer Tech School in Pittsburgh.
Randy worked as a manager for Robinson Wall Coverings, in Titusville, before he moved to Baltimore to work for the Internal Revenue Service. He began working there in 1997 and retired in 2013 as the Branch Chief of Information Technology. He truly loved his work and took great pride in everything he accomplished.
Randy had a love for traveling, he and his family would hike in his special place, Zion National Park in Utah. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, beating contestants on Jeopardy, and cheering on his Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Tammy Peterson and husband Terry of Titusville, Lisa Lynde and husband Mark of Bemus Point, NY; his nephews, Tyler Peterson of Titusville, Jason Ellis and wife Michele of Kittrell, NC; his nieces, Megan Miller and husband Michael of Tionesta, Stacy Lingenfelter and husband Eric of Glen Burnie, MD; his close friends, Rich Ciccarelli and wife Ann of San Antonio, TX, Norm Gale and wife Anne of Columbia, MD; and several great nieces and nephews, and loving extended family.
In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Ellis and her husband Jay Ellis, and his beloved Dachshund dogs, Moose and Sophie.
No services will be observed at this time. Internment will be Woodlawn Cemetery.
