Randall Lee Wood

Randy Lee Wood, age 58, of Dryden, MI, passed away at his home on October 23, 2024, after a hard struggle with diabetes and ongoing medical issues. Born and raised in Waterford, MI, Randy was the beloved son of Harry P. Wood and Charlotte Wood.
Randy was a skilled heavy equipment operator and large equipment mechanic, respected for his hardworking nature and hands-on expertise. Known for his love of staying busy, Randy could often be found tinkering with anything that needed fixing. He enjoyed dining out and was always on the lookout for something on sale or a good deal. He also loved a good debate, often stirring up conversations just because. His favorite saying, "It is what it is," captured his unbothered approach to life.
Randy is survived by his son, Carlton Davis (age 42) (wife Janae 46) and his granddaughter RayLynn (age 6); his daughter Ashley Bradberry (husband James) and granddaughters: Arianna Saldana, Hayley Gonzalez, and Miranda Gonzalez; and great-grandson Antonio Saldana. His son, Randall Wood Jr. and his twin sons, Matthew and Austin Wood. He also leaves behind his siblings: Steve Wood (age 59), Ron Wood, Debbie McConnell (age 68), and Janet Jones (age 65), along with half-siblings Lawrence and Clarence Parr. Randy was predeceased by his siblings Janice Narmor, Jimmy Wood, and Larry Wood (age 47). Additionally, he is survived by his stepchildren DeAnne Jacoby (age 40), James Warner (age 34), and Dustin Warner (age 27). He was preceded in death by his stepson William Warner (age 19).
Randy's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered for his strength, attitude, and ability to tell a story about anything at any time. May he rest in peace, forever loved and missed
Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 5381 Highland Rd. Waterford, Sunday November 3rd, at 3:00pm. Friends may visit from 1:00pm until the time of service. Reception immediately following.
